more than 25 years to end curable blindness in 21 countries around the world.
About Fight Night
Audiences are in for a hit on May 15, 2015, when the former Massachusetts’ governor, Mitt Romney, enters the ring to battle
five-time heavyweight champion, Evander Holyfield at CharityVision’s inaugural Fight Night fundraising event.
The two will be lacing up their gloves to raise money for CharityVision, the Utah-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to
providing medical equipment, clinics, vision screenings, eye surgeries and training to doctors in poverty-stricken areas across
the globe.
The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. at The Rail Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Romney will go toe to toe with
Holyfield. This epic battle will be followed by several bouts featuring several professional boxers, including Wes Capper and
Leon Spinks III.
The evening will be patterned after a 1920’s black-tie event, with live big band music, delicious food and drinks. Guests can
also hedge their bets in an auction featuring signed boxing gloves by Holyfield, among other items.
