TEAM UP FOR THE POSSUM AT THE CHATTAHOOCHEE NATURE CENTER
GO WILD IN ROSWELL at the 37th Annual Possum Trot 10K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run
Sunday, June 14, 2015 - 7:00 AM
Location: Chattahoochee Nature Center – 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell, GA 30075
[ROSWELL] – This popular 10K race was started by dedicated nature center staff 37
years ago to ‘make payroll and keep the gates open’ for the oldest and largest private
non-profit nature center in Georgia. The race is now a great tradition and a signature
event that draws runners from across the region in preparation for the annual
Peachtree Road Race held in celebration of our country’s anniversary. The Possum asks
that you gather your friends to form a team to run with you at this amazing annual race
along the beautiful Chattahoochee River which provides cool breezes and great views
for early morning runners. Condition yourself for the Peachtree Road Race and qualify
for next year’s PT2016 on this fast paced scenic course! The event is part of Go Wild In
Roswell, a month long celebration encouraging nature and fun in the outdoors.
Atlanta's Top Specialty Running/Walking Retailer, Big Peach Running Co. will partner
with the Chattahoochee Nature Center at the Possum Trot.
