Manager’s Report
It’s been a little over the month since I assumed
the duties of Club Manager. You would think after
being a member for 34 years, being on the board for
two terms and serving as the President for a term,
you would know just about everything that goes on
… but then you soon realize some of the details that
previously went unnoticed. Many pieces go into the
operation of an organization.

Golf News
Our aerification was delayed a week by the rain but we finally got some decent weather and finished the greens. If the
weather stays good our greens should heal and be back to normal in about two weeks. We are still waiting on drier weather
to start the paving project on #16 and to finish the work on the bathrooms out on the course.
Member/Guest this year is scheduled for June 26th, 27th and 28th. This is earlier than years past in hopes of avoiding
the really hot weather we tend to get in late July. Entry fee this year is $300 per team and in an effort to have more teams
you may play with a guest or play with another member. Another change this year is that drinks will not be included in the
entry fee but will be available at a discounted price starting at the Friday Night Calcutta. Entry forms and itinerary will be
in next month's Smoke Signal.
