The Southern Utah Early Childhood Council invites you to submit a proposal to be a presenter
at the 2015 Annual Southern Utah Early Childhood Collaboration Conference. The theme of
this year’s conference is:
Discover the Super Hero in You!
Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood
We will provide a complimentary conference registration and lunch for those proposals that
are selected. The 2015 Conference will take place on Saturday September 19, 2015 at
Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.
Workshop:
You are invited to submit a workshop proposal in response to the following Call for Presenters.
Deadline is July 1, 2015.
Based on past participant feedback, we are encouraging presentations in the areas of
Developmentally Appropriate Practices that will benefit Early Childhood Professionals who
work with children ages infant through early elementary school.

Proposal Application Requirements:
A completed application must include:





Name/professional credentials and affiliation as it should be listed in conference
related materials
A brief biography
Title of your workshop- (we ask all presenters to prepare a one hour workshop
to be taught twice)
Two to three objectives that address what participants will take away as a result of
your workshop
A brief description of your workshop to be used in the conference brochure
Send questions and submit your workshop proposal session by email to Carrie Sigler, Director,

Presenters Agreement
In submitting a proposal, I understand that I am agreeing to the following on behalf of all
individuals’ participation in this presentation:



Presenter(s) must be available to participate in the conference at the times scheduled
All transportation costs, including lodging, are the responsibility of the presenter(s)
You will be notified of the Conference Planning Committee’s decision by July 30, 2015
