rd 3 Annual Kids Matter Conference The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, in partnership with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing, presents: Inclusive Child Care for Infants and Toddlers a six-hour, CEU-approved training designed for child care providers and directors.* Topics will include: An Introduction to Inclusive Child Care: All Children Belong in a Natural Environment, Supporting Peer/Social Interaction in your Child Care Daily Routine, Activity-based Support for Children with Different Developmental and Functional Needs, Toileting Strategies for Children in the Inclusive Child Care Setting, Strategies for Caring for Children with Challenging Behaviors, Strategies for Caring for Children with Sensory Integration Issues, Strategies for Partnering with Parents of Children with Special Needs and Gaining Support from Other Parents with Children in Child Care, and Emergency Preparedness for Children with Special Needs *Please note that attendees must attend all six hours in order to receive the completion certificate needed for licensing training hours. Dunn, LMSW is an Extension Program Specialist II in the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Family Development and Resource Management unit. Rebecca has worked in early childhood education for over 10 years, with an empha-sis in challenging behavior. As a licensed social worker, Rebecca’s approach is to treat all areas of a child’s life, not just the behavior. While Rebecca’s passion lies in working directly with young children, she has found renewed enjoyment in traveling throughout the state of Texas and meeting with child care teachers and directors, discovering ways to continually improve upon the way we serve our most precious assets Educational programs of Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or veteran status.
