Page 1 of 1 Gloucester Police/Fire: City man faces multiple heroin, other drug charges By Arianna MacNeill Staff Writer | Posted: Wednesday, May 6, 2015 6:30 pm A Gloucester man was handed six drug-related charges following a police investigation and detectives obtaining a search warrant for his apartment. Benjamin A. Muise, 26, of 8 Elwell St., Apt. 1, was charged with distribution of a class A drug/heroin, possession with intent to distribute a class A drug/heroin in a subsequent offense; possession of a class A drug/heroin, also as subsequent offense; two counts of possession of class C drugs — identified in the police report as Clonazepam and Gabapentin — and possession of a class E drug, Lorazapam. Muise was arrested last Friday at noon, according to the police report. In addition to a measured 10.35 grams of heroin found in the apartment, police also found $935 in cash police suspect Muise made off drug sales, along with a scale and hypodermic needles, the report indicated. While Muise was being booked in Gloucester, police also noted in the report that Muise’s cell phone rang multiple times “showing the names of known narcotics users.” Clayton C. Enslow, 44, of 6 Summit St., Apt. 1, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor — fifth offense, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and failure to stop/yield following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Maplewood Avenue and Grove Street at 8:39 p.m. Saturday. Kristaq Stefani, 20, of 27 Prospect St., Apt. 1, was charged with OUI-liquor, being a person under 21 in possession of alcohol, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle crash in Grant Circle at 1:09 a.m. Sunday. Mark Groves, 26, of 370 Main St., was charged with using a motor vehicle without authority, second offense; possession of a class A drug, subsequent offense; operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street at 10:55 p.m. Sunday. Rosaida J. Hernandez, 49, of 6 Patriots Circle, Apt. 12A, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license following a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Washington and Pearl streets at 5:10 p.m. Monday.
