Hubert is a qualified French IP lawyer who has been working since more than 30 years with the Nestlé
company. He started his career in France and during his many years at Nestlé he gained international
exposure and experience working in the field of IP in the USA, in Chile and in Russia and mostly at
Nestlé’s HQ in Switzerland. Initially working as in-house regional IP counsel for North America then for
Africa and the Middle East, Hubert was subsequently responsible for giving IP advice to the Petcare,
Culinary, Ice Cream, Dairy and Professional marketing business units. He has also been closely involved
and has gained knowledge in M&A transactions and litigations. During the last four years Hubert has
been working as Senior Legal counsel IP for Europe giving full IP advice for this region and also
managing the team of Nestlé in-house Regional IP lawyers located in the European markets.
