A crew of ten paddlers plus Drummer is required (Total 11). Boat, paddles and an experienced
helm will be provided. No previous experience is needed. Soft shoes are vital.
A mixed crew of seven people (minimum of 2 male and 2 female) is required. These craft
resemble two Canadian Canoes joined to form a catamaran. No previous experience is
required and boats and paddles are supplied.
Soft shoes are vital. Crews may be of any age but must contain at least two adults. One of
the crew will helm the craft.
A fun opportunity to test your rowing skills over a short course. A crew of two, one of whom
must be under 14.
A mixed team of sixteen to take part in five events - Dragon Boats (11 crew), Canoe Cats (7
crew), Volleyball (6 in team), "funny-walk" (5 in team) and Tug-of-War (8 in team). A different
crew for each non-dragon event. Min. 2 ladies to be in each event, nobody to be in more
than 3 events. The highest total of points awarded for placing in each event decides the
overall winner. Each team will be provided with a gazebo on the river bank.
A race in Canoe-Cats with six paddlers and one helm, open to teams from churches, scouts,
clubs, or similar institutions. The Canoe Cats and paddles are provided. Head to head races
against specified rival teams can be arranged.
Entry fees for each event are in the table below. 2 discounts, each of 10% are available to any team which fulfills
either of the following criteria. Any team which has entered the same event at any of the last 3 Cookham Regattas
(2012, 2013 or 2014) will be entitled to a “Returning Entrant Discount” of 10%. An “Early Bird Discount” of
10% will be allowed for any team for which the completed entry form and appropriate fee is received no later
than Thursday 30th July, 2015 (the 10% discount amount is quoted below in brackets):Dragon Boat

All my crew and I agree to abide by the rules and conditions of the Cookham Regatta. In particular we agree that the race
organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, death or personal injury howsoever caused as a result of taking part in this
event. I confirm that all my crew and I are competent swimmers and I have their authority to enter them into this event and
commit them to the above agreement. (Copies of the full Rules will be sent with your entry confirmation). I also confirm that I
have the written authority of a parent , guardian or responsible person for all crew members under the age of 18 years.
