Young Children’s and Gala Recital Dress Rehearsal 2015
3:50-10:00pm, Friday May 29
Minnetonka Arts Center on 7 (Minnetonka High School)
Dress Rehearsal is required and provides dancers with a chance to get a feel for the stage
before performing for a large audience.
How does it work?








See below for your class’s dress rehearsal call time.
Dancers must arrive at dress rehearsal and recital with undergarments, hair, and makeup
performance ready.
Please enter through doors labeled 3N at the Minnetonka Arts Center on 7 (Minnetonka High
School).
Once you arrive, proceed to the “Check-In” table in the lobby.
After you have checked in, proceed directly to the theater and find the other members of your
dances and be prepared to be called on stage. On Recital Day, after checking in, a Creo staff
member will escort your dancer to a dressing room.
A CREO Representative will call your dancer’s group backstage 10 minutes before stage time.
Remember to pack water, and a healthy dinner or snacks if you have a long rehearsal night.
Food is not allowed in the auditorium. Please eat in designated eating areas. Be sure to protect
your costume while you eat by wearing a large zip-up sweatshirt or button-down shirt.
After your class has rehearsed their piece, dancers are free to go.

Dressing rooms are not available for most dancers during dress rehearsal. For dancers needing
to change costumes, we will let you know where to change the day of rehearsal.
Photography and video may be taken during dress rehearsal, but not at recital.
Well Wishes will be available for purchase and pickup at dress rehearsal
Your pre-ordered recital apparel will also be available for pickup at dress rehearsal.
Questions on rehearsal and recital day should be directed to the “Welcome Table” in the lobby
of the theater. This is a busy day for CREO staff. Please be patient and refrain from asking
questions directly to the teachers or director. Thank you!

stage time. Please be prepared to dance at the beginning of your rehearsal call time.
You may pack a light snack.
