2015 PROSPECTUS ABOUT THE GAMES Global Cyberlympics is an international cybersecurity competition that encompasses Forensics, Ethical Hacking and Defense. Teams are made up of 4 to 6 players, and each round serves as an elimination round until only winning teams remain. Global CyberLympics is supported by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), which is the United Nations’ specialized agency for information and communication technologies (ICTs). Global CyberLympics is a part of EC-Council Foundation a non-profit organization; dedicated to unifying global cyber defense. 2014 WINNERS - CYBER PADAWANS FACTS AND NUMBERS SECURITY CHALLENGE (18+) •In 2014, the highest scoring continent was North America. For the first time in Global CyberLympics history, North America beat Europe in the 2014 games. The Security Challenge (18 & Over competition) consists of 4 competitions played on a global scale. The first three rounds of competition serve as elimination rounds. The elimination rounds will be played in the following order: • The second highest continents were Europe and Australia. •The following countries were the top teams (World Final qualifiers) for their continent: USA, Brazil, India, Australia, Netherlands, Sudan •The following countries were the runner up teams (World Final qualification round participants) for their continent: Netherlands, Peru, Sudan, Round 1: Forensics Round 2: Pen Test Round 3: CND - Computer Network Defense Round 4: Capture the Flag the World Finals competition Indonesia, USA, Australia To view the game schedule or donate visit www.cyberlympics.org •This year Global CyberLympics had 56 Universities participate.
