Hearty welcome to
Sri. G Sreeram, the new Managing Director
We are hopeful that a new dawn breaks today for Dhanlaxmi Bank. Our Bank
gets a new MD today; Sri.G. Sreeram, who is a seasoned banker known for his
professional acumen and fairness. DBOO is most happy to welcome the new
Managing Director.
The incumbent Sri.G Sreeram has had a 35 years stint in Canara Bank. He is
an Engineering graduate and a Post graduate diploma holder in Personal
Management. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He
joined as a TFO in Canara Bank in 1980. A core performer, Sri.Sreeram,
climbed the career ladder swiftly and was anointed as General Manager in
2011. He rose to the Chief General Manager position in 2014. His tremendous
exposure to the multifarious Banking functions and postings to varied
geographical locations will surely be an asset to our Bank also. He has had
an overseas posting as well; having headed the London Branch of Canara Bank
for two years. Sri Sreeram is known for his expertise in portfolios like Credit,
Treasury Operations etc. But the icing on the cake is his excellent track
record in maintaining smooth Industrial Relations in his erstwhile
Institution.
We do expect that Sreeram Sir will impart the much needed professional touch
in the day today administration of the Bank. It is our fond hope that there will
be some respite to the industrial relations crisis in the Bank.
We wish a long and successful tenure for Sri.Sreeram as the Managing
Director and CEO of our Bank. On behalf of the entire 1200 and odd DBOO
members, we offer our unconditional support to the new MD, whom we
pin our hopes on for our beloved Institution’s growth and greatness. We
reasonably hope that smooth industrial relations is once again here to
stay!
