The foundation aims to provide inner city and low-income children with the educational opportunities and resources to reach their full potential and beat the odds. Proceeds from the evening will help fund community outreach programs, such as Back to School COOL, Delanie’s Imagination Stations and College Bound, in an effort to fulfill the mission of the Delanie Walker Gives Back Foundation. For one afternoon only, several Tennessee Titans, including Antonio Andrews, Byron Bell, Kaelin Burnett, Perrish Cox, Anthony Fasano, Jacoby Ford, Zaviar Gooden, Michael Griffin, Justin Hunter, Jonathan Massaquoi, Jason McCourty, Rico Richardson, Justin Staples, Craig Stevens, Avery Williamson and Khalid Wooten, joined Walker to trade the football field for the racetrack to benefit Walker’s cause. In addition to head-to-head racing with Walker and his Titans teammates, racers indulged in some of Nashville’s best food trucks, such as Bacon Nation, Four and Twenty Blackbirds and Moovers and Shakers, and walked away with souvenir tee shirts and swag bags full of goodies. Racers also had the opportunity to take on an 18-hole black light mini-golf course as well as participate in a silent auction. Paul Jones of WZTV FOX 17 served as the emcee for the afternoon, which included a Championship Cup Presentation to Andrew Diller of Team Brasfield & Gorrie.
