It is showed that, with the heterologous Bone Ring technique in
association with the use of CGF autologous platelet concentrate, it is
possible to obtain vertical and horizontal ridge increases.
This procedure takes advantage with the use of Round Up, the bone
homogenizer device which allows permeate blocks with autologous
growth factors.
When permitted by the indications revealed trough a correct
anamnesis and when a scrupulous surgical protocol is followed, the
simultaneous placement of the implant is possible.
In this presentation it has been suggested a surgical technique aimed
to achieve vertical and horizontal increases, making it possible in
outpatient environment and only with topical anaesthetic. In
particular heterologous blocks, collagen-based biomaterial have been
used (C-block or Sp-block Osteobiol by Tecnoss), mixed with CGF
thanks to Round Up use, in order to obtain a three-dimensional
increase for deferred or concurrent placement of an implant in a
single surgical time.
First of all, it has been underlined that with Round Up (Silfradent,
Italy) is possible to effectively permeate porous block scaffolds (Spblock, Osteobiol® by Tecnoss) with CGF (Silfradent, Italy); in this way
scaffold structural features and CGF biological activity add together,
creating an effective synergy for bone regeneration. The histomorphometric analysis of the carrot bone deriving from the implant
site preparation has explicitly demonstrated that, after 4 months, a
satisfying degree of bone regeneration can be observed.
It will be presented a new generation of implants particularly suitable
to be used in association with Bone Ring .Salient features of these
implants are the great stability and a high wettability, that is, the
ability to absorb the growth factors "CGF" on their surface.
