Thank you for attending this fundraiser! Dutch Valley Restaurant is happy to help our
local organizations raise funds for their trips and activities. Tonight, 15% of the sales
from your dining room orders will be donated to this organization, plus all the
gratuities. Be sure to stop by the Bakery on your way out – we’ll also donate 15%
of all bakery sales during the fundraiser meal. Enjoy your meal!

Meal Fundraiser Guidelines
How does a fundraiser meal work? Below are some guidelines and instructions
about what to expect, how much help you’ll need, how to dress and what to do.
If you have questions, please feel free to call us.
Staffing your meal
Menu
We cook the meal – you provide help to seat your guests,
serve the meal and clean the tables.
To make things easier for your servers, we have a limited
menu. We can provide you with copies of the menu before
your fundraiser so you can be familiar with what is offered.
Dutch Valley Restaurant provides two servers to help
organize your volunteers as well as enter the orders into our
computer system.
The night of your event, volunteers that help with your meal
may eat at Dutch Valley Restaurant for 40% off.
Limited to 10 persons.
How many people do you need?
We recommend that you have 10 volunteers. It works best
if your staff is ages 14 or older. We also recommend that an
additional 2 to 3 adults be on hand to help supervise your
volunteers, particularly if they are young.
Dress Code
Try to look professional – wear a nice shirt or t-shirt with
your group’s logo. Pants (no shorts) and knee-length skirts
or longer are recommended. Please wear sneakers – no
open-toed shoes or heels.
When to arrive
Fundraiser meals usually start at 4pm and end at about
7:30pm. Please have your volunteers arrive about 45 minutes
before it is time to serve.

During the meal
Keep your guests happy – take orders, refill drinks, and
remove any used plates from tables (especially if they have
buffet), and clean and clear tables. Remember to have your
servers send your guests to the bakery when they are done,
because you will also receive 15% of those sales. And last
but not least, have fun with your guests. They have come here
to support you!
Before leaving, we ask that you clear all your tables,
including the condiments.
Advertising and Promotion
Your organization is responsible for all advertising, promotion and invitations. Since your guests will enter at our Main
Entrance at Dutch Valley Restaurant, you may place a sign at
that entrance to promote your event.
