INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase, you will enjoy many hours listening to
music with your ResQ BT1®. Before using it, please read and follow the
instructions in this user manual.
WARNING
-Do not open or try to repair the ResQ BT1® yourself, do not modify the
supplied cables, or you risk damaging the speaker and short-circuiting or
electrocuting yourself.
-Do not expose the ResQ BT1® to water, humidity, excessive sun and heat
(heaters, chimney, inside car rear window, …).
-Keep clean with a dry cloth.

TURNING ON AND PAIRING
1- Switch the «ON» button.
The blue LED blinks rapidly, the ResQ BT1®
sounds «dududu» followed with a «bip».
Your ResQ BT1® is now in pairing mode
searching for compatible Bluetooth® devices.
2- Turn on Bluetooth® on your smartphone, tablet, computer…
Select «ResQ BT1®» in the list of available devices and
wait a few seconds.
You don’t need a password; both devices are being paired,
the blue LED blinks slowly and the ResQ BT1® sounds «bip»
3- Your devices are now paired and will remain paired
each time you turn them on. Enjoy your music.
*The scope/range is 10-30 meters. It depends of the battery level

INSTRUCTIONS:
The ResQ BT1® has 5 modes: TF (SD)/USB/FM Radio/
Bluetooth®/Line In so you can enjoy your ResQ BT1® with your
music on a TF (SD) card, USB stick, in Bluetooth®/Hands-free
mode, FM Radio, and also on any audio device with a mini-jack
output, thanks to the audio «LINE IN» and audio cable provided.
To switch modes, press the M button. (Do not press too hard, it’s a
tactile controler.)
Turn the volume up or down by holding the + or - buttons.
In TF (SD) / USB / Bluetooth® modes a brief press on + or –
buttons will take you to the next/previous song in your playlist, a
brief press on the play/pause button will play or pause your song.
In Bluetooth mode with your smartphone, your ResQ BT1® will
switch to hands-free automatically during a phone call thanks to
its built-in mic. A brief press on the play/pause button picks up
and hangs up the phone, a holding it goes into automatic dialing
function.
In FM Radio mode, a brief press on << and >> will take you to the
previous / next station.
When the ResQ BT1® is plugged with the mini-USB cable
provided, whether on or off, the ResQ BT1® will charge and the
red LED will turn on. The 3.7V/750mA Li-battery lasts around 5
hours at 50% volume. When the ResQ BT1® is out of battery it
will sound «dudu».

TROUBLESHOOTING
Bluetooth® not pairing:
Check that the ResQ BT1® is «ON» and that the blue LED
blinks while pressing briefly the M button successively.
Make sure your smartphone/tablet/computer is on Bluetooth®
mode. If the ResQ BT1® is paired with another device, you
will need to unpair it first and restart the ResQ BT1®.
There is no sound or low volume:
Check the volume of your smartphone/tablet/computer as well
as the volume of the ResQ BT1®.
The volume goes on and off :
Check the distance between both devices and their battery
levels.
The pause button of the ResQ BT1® is not working:
Try the pause button of your smartphone/tablet/computer.
TF (SD) card is not playing :
Make sure the card works in another device and that the files
are mp3.
Limited 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects.
