Willie Horton's 14th Annual Batting for Kids featuring Don Bosco Hall's 2015 Baseball
Challenge allows boys and girls ages 5-15 the opportunity to participate in a fun-filled
afternoon at Comerica Park!
Tigers' Great Willie Horton and 450 youth from the Detroit Metro area will participate in a youth
development and baseball skills competition that promotes exercise, recreational sports, and
teamwork. Participants will have the opportunity to:
● Visit Comerica Part and compete on a major league baseball field
● Display three fundamental baseball skills: batting, throwing, and base running
● Participate in demonstration clinics
● Earn a chance to be recognized during a special pre-game ceremony held at Comerica Park
Every participant is provided with an event T-shirt, continental breakfast, lunch, beverages, and
baseball souvenir. The event starts at 8 a.m. with registration and breakfast and ends at 2 p.m
