NOTICE TO DP WORLD CUSTOMERS
CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY FEE
Customers are advised that effective from 1st July 2015 DP World Australia will be increasing the
Chain of Responsibility Fee on all full import containers delivered by road.
As part of Chain of Responsibility Legislation compliance, DP World Brisbane provides a weigh in
motion service for all import full containers. The load measurement devices are intended to ensure
compliance to axle loading requirements of vehicles using public roads.
A Chain of Responsibility Overweight Fee will be payable when a vehicle departing the Terminal
via the weigh in motion facility receives a red light, does not have current permits and is refused
exit from the Terminal and DP World are required to remove one or more containers from the
trailer.
The Chain of Responsibility Fees effective from 1st July 2015 will be;
Chain of Responsibility Fee A$5.30 plus GST per full import container delivered by road
Chain of Responsibility Overweight Fee A$104.00 plus GST per container removed from a
vehicle
The Chain of Responsibility Fees is applicable at DP World leasehold facilities in the following Port;
Brisbane
Fisherman Islands Terminal
The Chain of Responsibility Fee will be charged direct to Transport Companies when booking a
VBS slot via 1-stop for the collection of an import full container. The Chain of Responsibility
Overweight Fee will be charged direct to Transport Companies via invoice.
DP World reserves the right to review the Chain of Responsibility Fees.
