A very successful DVE Aquatic SC meet was held at
WaterMarc on Sunday. As with all DVE meets, it raises
much needed funds for the Club which helps ensure we
keep fees to a minimum. This meet will have generated
approximately $8,000. Thank you to all involved with
the preparation and smooth running on the day. It
might seem effortless but a lot of hard work and time
goes into organising such an event so thank you to all
involved.
Plenty of other meets coming up so make sure you read
this bulletin for meets that we support and encourage
you to enter. For all other meets check out the SV
website and ensure you get your entries in early as
events fill up fast, with swimmers aiming to achieve
State Short Course times by 24th August.

The next round of Club Aggregates is being held at Eltham
Leisure Centre on Saturday 23rd May. Warm up will be from
6:15am, racing starts at 6:30am sharp and finishes by
8:15am. Following the swimming is a BBQ breakfast.
Club Aggregates are a fun activity for all members and
provide an opportunity for both casual and squad
swimmers to experience and/or practice racing in a friendly,
familiar environment. It also provides an opportunity to
meet people, socialise and build team spirit.

The program is designed to teach, promote and develop
Junior Water Polo players in the Northern area of
Melbourne. After some initiation into water polo, children
will get to play keepings off in teams wearing water polo
caps and shoot some goals.
