We are delighted to announce an exclusive private viewing and sale of artwork at
Inverquharity Castle by Kirriemuir on Friday 5 June from 6pm – 8.30pm. This is an
opportunity to view original work by a selection of exciting local artists:

Inverquharity Castle is a historic 15th
century tower house sitting in the
beautiful setting of the Angus Glens.
Tickets cost £17.50 per head and include drinks and canapés.
15% of the sale price of all artwork on the night will be donated to Dyslexia Scotland.
There will be special auctions on the night (with reserves) including:
- a special edition signed print and artist’s proof of painting of Sir Jackie Stewart at
the 1969 German Grand Prix by Jonathan Mitchell

a limited edition print of the First Minister’s Christmas Card 2012 by Dame
Elizabeth Blackadder
- autographed photos featuring the Jim Clark tribute held at Goodwood in 2013
All proceeds from the night will go to Dyslexia Scotland.

Directions to Inverquharity Castle
From Kirriemuir, take the B955 (Glens Road) to the north. Turn right after 2.5 miles
(signed Forfar/Memus) and continue on the road about 0.5 mile to Inverquharity
Castle. Single track road on left into grounds (on a right hand corner).
From Forfar, take the B9128 for 1 mile. Turn left (signed The Glens) crossing over the
A90, and drive to the junction with B957 (Kirriemuir). Continue straight over and follow
the road (signed The Glens and Cortachy) for 1 mile. The road zigzags a couple of
times. Left at next junction and immediately right. The castle will be visible straight
ahead. The turn-off is a single track road on the right on a sharp left hand corner.

Please note: There is no disabled access beyond the first room at Inverquharity
Castle. There is a narrow spiral staircase. Visitors enter at their own risk.
