The DYWO Friends’ Group is delighted to have secured a European tour to Florence, Tuscany, in April next year.
Tour Details
Our tour partner is Club Europe, details of which can be accessed using this link: www.club-europe.co.uk.
Three concerts are planned during the tour, one of the concerts will take place in Florence and arrangements
for the two remaining concerts are underway.
We have also arranged three exciting excursions for our band members:
The Leaning Tower of Pisa
Puccini’s House in Lucca
A day in Florence
Accommodation
The accommodation is in Montecatini and will be half board. The exact hotel will be confirmed approximately
three months before we travel however, we have been advised that accommodation will be similar to the Hotel

Travel Information
We will depart on the 4th April 2015 to Dover, where we will take the ferry to Calais and then continue by coach
to Tuscany. The coach drive will be 22 hours in duration which will be air conditioned, fitted with seat belts and
two drivers will share driving duties.
Throughout the tour, Club Europe will provide a full time Tour Manager; this is a bilingual representative who
will be with us throughout our tour.
The coach will arrive back in Devon on Friday 10th April, exact time TBC.
Price
If your son/daughter would like to participate on the tour, the cost is £350 inclusive. Please send a cheque for a
deposit of £100.00 by Monday 30th June. Please note that your deposit is non-refundable.
DYWO are offering the opportunity to spread the cost of the tour and below are the dates that payment will be
required:
£100.00 deposit by 30th June 2014
£100.00 by 30th September 2014
£150.00 by 31st January 2015
Insurance is provided by the tour company; however, you may wish to take out an insurance policy
independently.
Each member will need a valid passport and a European Health Card. A photocopy of these documents is also
necessary, should either be lost. You can obtain an EHIC card via the following link: https://www.ehic.org.uk
As well as the Director of Music, there will be several DYWO Friends accompanying the group, who all hold
enhanced DBS certificates and are trained in first aid.
N.B: All concerts and excursions are inclusive as part of the tour. Though we are currently in the planning
process, we have been given a final price by our tour operator, Club Europe. Any changes in details will not
affect the cost provided in this letter.
