Camp Out under the Stars! Don’t forget your Dad, Mom,
Brothers, Sisters, Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts!

NOTE: All children on campus during this event must be accompanied by an adult.

Families are welcome to bring their own food on campus. For your convenience, we will have
food trucks available from 5-8pm: Burger Monster, Dogzilla, Ninjas w/ Appetite, Longboards,
Moustache Mike's, and Soho Tacos.

Where: “Camp Eastwood” (Eastwood School Field-13552 University St.
Westminster, CA 92683)
When: Friday, June 5th. North Gate on Vallecito opens @ 5:00 PM.

***4th and 6th grades will be selling glow sticks and raffle tickets for a
EVERYONE, camping or not camping, must have Campout provided wristband
to be on campus after 5PM to enjoy S’mores, Movie, Popcorn and Pancake

Eastwood Dolphin Dad Campout FAQs
Q: What to bring?
A: Tents, trailers, RVs and good Eastwood spirit! Money for dinner! Money for raffle tickets and glow
sticks! Beach chairs and blankets for the movie!
Q: What not to bring?
A: This is a school event. Do not bring pets, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, or anything that would
not normally be allowed during the school day. No barbeques or open fires permitted.
Q: What if it rains?
A: The campout goes on rain OR shine. So come prepared!
Q: Is this open to anyone in the neighborhood?
A: No. This event is strictly for Eastwood students and their families. All family members of the
students are welcome including siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a FAMILY event and children cannot be on campus without an adult.
Q: Can I pay for dinner along with the campout fees?
A: No. Campout fees are paid in advance. Each fee helps to cover the cost of making popcorn,
S’mores and the pancake breakfast. Dinner can be purchased the night of the campout from some of
the most popular Orange County Food Trucks who accept both cash and credit cards. 10% of all net
sales are donated back to Eastwood PTA to help offset the cost of campout expenses.
Q: Can we get in early before 5pm?
A: No. The gate on Vallecito will be locked until 5pm. Dolphin Dads who are volunteering at the
event will be permitted to come on campus and set up early. Hmmmm…..work an hour or two and
pick a prime spot and set up early….see question below about volunteering!
Q: What if I miss preregistration?
A: No problem! You can still attend for the same $5 entrance fee up to and including the day of the
camp out. Unfortunately, the FREE camp out shirt will not be provided.
Q: What kind of security is there?
A: Wristbands will be distributed the night of the campout to those who have the fee. Only those with
wristbands will be allowed at the campout after 5 pm. The wristband ensures your enjoyment of
S’mores, popcorn and pancake breakfast. Dolphin Dads are in charge of security and will walk the
campus all night long. Anyone found without a wristband will be allowed to purchase a wrist band for
$5.00 or will be escorted from the school. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT OUR PRIORITY IS FOR
Q: I am a Dolphin Dad and want to volunteer. How can I help?
A: It takes a lot of Dolphin Dads to team up and put this together. All we need is an hour or so of
your time to help check in campers, process campout fees the night of, make popcorn, flip pancakes,
grill sausages, make S’mores or cover the extremely popular 2am - 3am
security shift. Your kids will love to see you helping and supporting the school. To volunteer, have

Everyone, camping or not camping, needs a wristband to enjoy S’mores, popcorn and/or Pancake
Breakfast. The campout is not a fundraiser. Accounting for all guests is essential with our tight budget.
