Economic Studies
We are now going to tie the cost of our economic reports to data that we already have
available (i.e., don't have to buy), the amount of information that you can provide to us
to prepare the study and the timeline. We provide them in either IMPLAN or RIMS II
format.
The first thing to note is that the cost of IMPLAN data has gone up exponentially of late.
What this means is that we can no longer absorb this cost so we are going to offer such
studies on the following basis: If you need a study in any of the areas listed on the last
page of this document, there will be no additional charge for the IMPLAN data. If,
however, you need an IMPLAN study for anywhere else, the additional charge will be
$790 for county data and $1,000 for state-level data.
The second element of the pricing structure is going to be by what means the study is
paid: If the study is prepaid by wire transfer, there is a 10% discount. The reason that
this option is not offered for PayPal payments is that the discount is eaten up in PayPal
charges.
Pricing will also be affected by whether or not the studies are ordered on a rush basis or
whether or not they are ordered in multiples. Each study will be completed in five
business days from the time payment arrives in our account (that includes transfer time
from PayPal, usually two days) and we have the information needed to complete it. Rush
jobs (for an additional $200) will be completed by the end of the third business day from
the time payment arrives in our account (that includes transfer time from PayPal, usually
two days) and we have the information needed to complete it. If multiple studies are
ordered and prepaid, they will be completed as shown in the pricing matrix below. No
rush option is available for this.
