Created and updated outcome-based curriculum for all chapters of longterm mentoring program for high-risk youth. Directed initial and ongoing
training of all new staff nationwide. Supervised and coordinated local and
external program evaluation for all chapters, including working with NIH
researchers to design, obtain federal funding for, and coordinate a multi-site

Community Theatre: played and sang leading roles in more than 50 productions (1976-present). Active performer with
Comedy Sportz of Portland, a professional improvisation troupe (OR, 2000-present).
Animal-Assisted Therapy: coordinated and supervised visits by trained dogs to nursing homes, schools, hospitals, social
agencies and hospices (Therapy Dogs International, 1996-2002)
Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, 1989 (nationally certified in 1994). Created and maintained private
therapeutic massage practice throughout college and graduate school.
