CALL FOR PAPERS THE FIFTH ASIAN
SEMINAR IN REGIONAL SCIENCE

With recent trend in globalization and cross border activities,promoting
international
collaboration
is
essential.
Asian
regional
science
organizations currently lack such alliance and exchange of ideas and
research. This joint seminar is set upon with the aim to serve as a
platform for cross-fertilization of ideas among scholars and particularly to
promote the exchange of ideas and research among Asian countries and
regions. It is expected that the exchange will further contribute to the
stability and prosperity for the regions.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
The topics of interest include Asian Integration, Asian Regional and
Urban Issues, Spatial Economics, Economic Geography, Regional and
Urban Planning, Transportation, Regional Development, Location of
Economic Activities, Housing, Local Public Finance, Migration and
Demographic Analysis, Regional and Urban Resilience, Environmental
Quality, The New Silk Road and Sino-Russian Cooperation, Russian
Economy in Global Politics .
CALL FOR EXTENDED ABSTRACTS
Authors are invited to submit abstracts relating to the topics of interests.
The abstracts and papers should be written in English (in MS Word or
PDF format).
All abstracts should be structured as follows:
Title: title should be short, preferably less than 15 words
Author(s): contact details of the authors(s) (name, organization/company,
phone/fax no., email and full postal address)
Keywords: provide up to 5 keywords
Background: Short summary of relevant background and problem
addressed
Objectives: define “tangible and measurable” objectives of the work
presented in the paper
Methodology: describe briefly the methodology used or have used to
achieve
the research objectives
Results: provide a short summary of the results
