It includes cost paid by the employer to cover active employees, costs for spouses and dependent children, costs for behavioral health and prescription drug coverage and employer contributions made to HSAs and HRAs. It does not include dental or vision coverage costs, nor the costs for retirees and surviving spouses, nor employee contributions made to HSAs.
