Ryan Stroupe
Seminar is designed for energy and facility
managers, contracting officers, and others
wanting to develop and implement energyWater Savers
efficiency, water-efficiency, and renewable
energy projects on Federal sites under a
UESC. Focusing on proven templates,
Using Automatic Meter Infrastructure (AMI) big
contracts, and methods in the Federal
data and behavioral science to enable water
sector, the training provides key
conservation
considerations a site team should follow to
Susie McMullan
partner with its serving utility to establish a
UESC. This Seminar covers initial steps to
Triton AMI
develop a UESC, how to build a solid
team, ways to evaluate financing and
TBD
contracting options, and steps to initiate a
UESC with a serving utility.

DOE ESPC Training Workshop
Seminar introduces students to the
fundamentals of energy saving
performance contracts (ESPCs), an
alternative financing vehicle that allows
Federal agencies to complete energysavings projects without up-front capital
costs and special Congressional
appropriations by partnering with an
energy service company (ESCO).
Learners will be introduced to ESPC
basics, including key concepts, timelines,
authorizing legislation, and stakeholder
roles and responsibilities and will become
familiar with best practices for developing
and reviewing contracting documents
associated with the five phases of the
ESPC development process:
