Laboratory Facilities
and Equipment
Freshman Students
The department has new labs, and is constantly
upgrading existing laboratory facilities used in
teaching and research as new technology becomes
available.
High school grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0
point scale.
ACT 17 (composite) or 820 (SAT critical reading and
mathematics combined)
Transfer Students
15 or more semester hours of college credit with a
2.75 or higher cumulative grade point average.
Applicants with less than 15 semester hours of
college-level credit must satisfy the university’s
minimum admission standards for engineering
program.
International Students
Secondary school with a superior average in
academic subjects and a certificate of completion
which enables the student to be admitted to a
university in the home country. Never been enrolled full-time as a college or
university student (otherwise, must apply as a
transfer student).
Submit a certificate of completion equivalent to a US
high school diploma duly evaluated by an approved
educational credential evaluator, certifying a
minimum GPA equivalent of 2.75 with superior
grades in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
