Location
The conference will be held at the Shores Resort and Spa at
2637 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118. The group
room rate is $154. The resort and self parking fees are waived. Valet
parking is $17 per day.
The deadline for room reservations is June 23, 2015. A limited number of rooms are blocked; the resort will sell out early.

Registration Fee
The registration deadline is July 1, 2015.
The conference registration fee is $425. The fee includes breakfast, all
breaks, the evening tropical reception, and the Thursday evening
dinner. The discounted registration fee for students is $350 (with
copy of valid student ID). Additional tickets for the Wednesday
Evening reception ($60) and Thursday Evening banquet ($100) may be
purchased in advance from the CME office.
Exhibitor fees are $700 per booth. This covers one exhibitor for all
Conference events. Required forms can be found at

Course Description and Objectives
The 42nd Annual Florida Medical Examiners Educational Conference
is designed to provide up-to-date information regarding the latest
topics in forensic medicine and death investigation. An emphasis will
be placed on forensic pathology, forensic toxicology and medicolegal
death investigation.
This educational activity is targeted to Medical Examiners (Forensic
Pathologists), Death Investigators, Law Enforcement Personnel,
Attorneys and Pathology Residents. Due to the nature of the subject
matter, conference registration is limited to these individuals.
CME Credit
Accreditation: This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the
joint sponsorship of the University of Florida College of Medicine and
District 7 Medical Examiners Office. The University of Florida
College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical
education for physicians.
Credit: The University of Florida College of Medicine designates this
live activity for a maximum of 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent
of their participation in the activity.
CEU Credit
CEU Credits will be provided to ABMDI certificants.
Notice: Law Enforcement agencies may use this course to satisfy
Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Criminal Justice
Standards and Training mandatory retraining hours. Retain the
certificate from this course (or a copy) for your agency for their
records for mandatory training hours for each four-year cycle.
Note: The decision to allow this training to count toward
mandatory retraining is an agency decision, not the individual
officer's choice.
