Adoption of Consent Calendar
The Commission will make any necessary additions, deletions, or corrections to the Agenda,
determine matters to be added or removed from the Consent Calendar, and with one motion
adopt the Agenda and approve the Consent Calendar.

Public Hearing: Annual Review of 2012-17 Strategic Plan
2012-17 Strategic Plan (Discussion/Action) Commissioners will discuss and approve
recommended updates to the 2012-17 Strategic Plan.
Presentation: Community Hubs (Discussion/Action Items) Commissioners will discuss and
provide staff guidance on the development of Community Hubs.
Fiscal (Discussion/Action Items)
7.1 FY 14-15 Budget Update: Commissioners will discuss the FY 14-15 Budget including
projected revenues and expenditures.
7.2 FY 15-16 Budget: Commissioners will discuss and approve funding recommendations for
FY 15-16 in compliance with GASB 54.
7.3 Long Term Fiscal Plan: Commissioners will discuss update to the long term fiscal plan
reflecting the FY 15-16 budget proposal.
Evaluation (Discussion)
8.1 FY 14-15 Health Report: Commissioners will discuss recommendations from the
Children’s Health Report developed by Social Entrepreneurs (SEI).
8.2 FY 14-15 Early Care and Education Report: Commissioners will discuss
recommendations from the Early Care and Education Report developed by SEI.
Grant Opportunities (Discussion/Action Items)
9.1 Children’s Dental Van: Commissioners will discuss the Children’s Dental Van and make
recommendations to (1) execute a contract with the El Dorado County Community Health
Center to provide services through the Children’s Dental Van for a three year term and (2)
reallocate $20,000 from the database line item for expenses related to bringing it into
service.

9.2 First 5 CA Commission IMPACT Grant Funding: Commissioners will discuss and make a
recommendation to authorize the Executive Director to apply for the maximum amount of
local and regional IMPACT funding available from First 5 California Commission for a five
year term..
Communications Plan (Discussion) Commissioners will discuss communication strategies for
FY 15-16 including messaging, outreach strategies, branding and outreach materials.
