Single mode patch cords are used for telecom networks and also used for high speed
metropolitan and access network. The single mode patch cords are manufactured using
LSZH cables which conform to IEC, EIA TIA or Telcordia standards. The OS2 patch
cords are terminated with standard connectors which give optimum optical performance.

Description
Our E2000 range of patch cords are suitable for telecom, datacom, data centre
and some critical applications. The patch cords provide flexible interconnection to
active equipment, passive optical devices and cross-connects. The patch cords are
manufactured using LSZH cables which conform to IEC, EIA TIA or Telcordia standards.
The patch cords are terminated with standard range physical contact (singlemode &
multimode) and angled physical contact (singlemode) zirconia ferrule connectors which
are manufactured with precision factory mounting and polishing techniques which helps
assure high transmission quality.

LC & SC Short Boot Patch Cords
For Central Office / Telco
LC patch cords supplied with a short boot are ideal for high density applications with
tight space requirements. The connector length from tip to boot assembly is only 40
mm, compared to 66 mm for standard LC – 40% shorter!
These patch cords have the added benefit of being supplied with reduced bend
sensitivity ITU-T G657 singlemode optical fibre which exhibit much lower optical power
loss under bend conditions while remaining compatible with conventional cabling.
LC short boot patch cords are designed to meet IEC, EN or Telcordia GR 326
requirements.
Our SC patch cords supplied with a short boot are ideal for high density applications
with tight space requirements. The connector length from tip to boot assembly is only
42 mm, compared to 57 mm for standard SC – 35% shorter!
These patch cords have the added benefit of being supplied with reduced bend
sensitivity ITU-T G657 singlemode optical fibre which exhibit much lower optical power
loss under bend conditions while remaining compatible with conventional cabling.
SC short boot patch cords are designed to meet IEC and BS EN requirements.

Description
Our high performance attenuated patch cords are used to attenuate the optical signal
in a link. They can be installed in place of conventional patch cords fixed attenuator
combination to provide a constant level of attenuation with a return loss of >50 dB.
It is a compact, multipurpose passive device designed to operate at the 1310 and
1550nm wavelengths.
They can be provided with various connector styles LC, SC, ST, MU and FC to meet
customer requirements. The cable and connectors meet all relevant standards.

User Guide
Step by Step
Step 1 - Connector Polarity Uncrossed lines under the connector latch on the housing at both ends indicates uncrossed fibre polarity A-B/B-A
Step 2 - Unlock Front Housing on one End Push the keys on either side to unlock the housing to remove the front section of the Uniboot housing.
Step 3 - Remove Front Housing Slide the front housing away from the rest of the Uniboot.
Step 4 - Rotate Front Housing Flip the released section of the housing. Do not rotate or twist the fibre
Step 5 - Attach Front Housing Push the housing back over the ends and the rest of the Uniboot connector until it clicks back into place.
Step 6 - Connector Polarity Finished result should now show crossed lines under the Flipped connector latch and uncrossed lines on the unaltered end. This would
indicate a crossed fibre polarity A-A/B-B

Our Mode Conditioning Patchcords provide an effective launch platform for 1310
nm Laser switches being used in multimode cabling systems.
Mode conditioned patchcords can allow a much higher operational bandwidth by
precisely aligning a single mode termination at the laser transmitter and providing
an off-centre launch into the multimode fibre core. This is essential for networks
