in-pack pasteurization*.
Uniform heat transfer throughout the product zone not
only expedites cooking times, but also ensures a high and
even food product quality. To ‘finish it off’, the steamer’s
unique Top Hat™ drying zone helps deliver exactly the right
appearance and surface texture on your product, and a dry
finish on sealed packaging that facilitates error-free in-line
labeling, before onward in-line chilling or freezing.

One key component in the GYRoCOMPACT® spiral
steamer is the self-stacking spiral conveyor. Its unique construction enables you to process up to 50 % more product
than a conventional steamer with the same footprint. What’s
more, it does so through longer operating runs, and with
greater hygiene and shorter cleaning times. This is part of
what will enable you to recoup your steamer investment in
record time, and boost your long-term productivity.
The heart of the machine
But that’s not all. Since the GYRoCOMPACT spiral was first
introduced in 1979, we have made considerable and continuous enhancements to ensure its reliability and productivity. For each conveyor we sell, we maintain a spare parts
inventory for 20 years, to ensure smooth operation and
continued profitability throughout the life of your equipment.
Our unique self-stacking spiral is more than just a conveyor, however. As its description implies, it forms its own
stack. Thanks to its sturdy side links, there are no rails, no
glide strips and no drum drive to cause trouble or complicate cleaning. The benefits are quickly apparent – in terms
of productivity, reliability and, not least, hygiene.
The conveyor is available in a wide range of link heights,
belt widths and configurations, to match your processing
needs both now and in the future.
The side link offers continuous stack support and minimal steam
leakage, for uniform product outfeed temperature across the belt.

WELDED ENCLOSURE
Full seal welding eliminates risk
of condensation inside panels.
Each panel forms a tightly sealed
individual cassette, which is
joined with other cassettes to build
the enclosure. This also accommodates expansion and contraction,
without leakage, during operation.
