One key component in the GYRoCOMPACT® spiral steamer is the self-stacking spiral conveyor. Its unique construction enables you to process up to 50 % more product than a conventional steamer with the same footprint. What’s more, it does so through longer operating runs, and with greater hygiene and shorter cleaning times. Since the GYRoCOMPACT spiral was first introduced in 1979, we have made considerable and continuous enhancements to ensure its reliability and productivity. GYRoCOMPACT® Self-stacking spiral steamer 1 TOPHAT™ DRYING ZONE The unique Top Hat drying zone gives you exact control over surface texture and appearance, and also leads to a dryer finish on sealed product packaging. 2 STEAM INLETS Positive steam feed and impeller fan ensure uniform distribution throughout the stack. 3 STEAM CONTAINMENT Double-duty steam containment not only equalizes variations in steam flow and keeps the steam ‘in place’, but also eliminates leakage into the factory locale, ensuring a cleaner, more comfortable work environment. 4 WELDED ENCLOSURE Full seal welding eliminates risk of condensation inside panels. Each panel forms a tightly sealed individual cassette, which is joined with other cassettes to build the enclosure. This also accommodates expansion and contraction, without leakage, during operation.
