JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Graphic Designer will contribute to the evolution of the Fortune Bay Resort Casino and Bois
Forte Development brand through the design and creation of marketing collateral and visual communication elements
such as billboards, direct mailers, print ads, technical papers, product videos, email blasts and the website under the
direction of the Assistant Director of Marketing. The Senior Graphic Designer will demonstrate a passion for detail;
possess strong communication and organizational skills to work independently in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Senior Graphic Designer must possess a BA degree in Graphic Art or related field AND five years
experience in graphic design and layout, illustration, or commercial art; OR, AA degree with seven years experience in
graphic design and layout, illustration, or commercial art. In addition the Senior Graphic Designer will possess the
following knowledge, skills and abilities:




Creative analytical skills. The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to look at his/her work from the point of
view of the customers and examine how the designs he/she develops will be perceived by the customer to
ensure that convey the desired message of Fortune Bay Resort Casino and BFDC.
Artistic ability. The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to create designs that are artistically interesting and
appealing to management and customers. The Senior Graphic Designer may produce rough illustrations of
design ideas, either by hand sketching or by using a computer program.
Communication skills. The Senior Graphic Designer must communicate with Fortune Bay Resort Casino and
BFDC Management to ensure that the designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express
information.
Time-management and organizational skills. The Senior Graphic Designer will work on multiple projects at the
same time, each with a different deadline.
