YOUNG CHILDREN & WORSHIP — 8:30 and 11:00 in Room CW-110 (located
in the Children’s Ministry wing). Please reference the worship bulletin to
know when to exit the sanctuary. Parents and their children who are age
4, 5 or 6 (not in 1st grade) by August 15, 2014, are invited. Please visit our

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL AND NURSERY — 9:45 to 10:45 every Sunday.
Nursery care for children six weeks to three years is available during
worship services and Sunday School. Classes (ages 3-6) are in the
Children’s Ministry Wing. Classes (1-6 grades) at the top of the C-Wing in
Oak Hill School. Please visit the Hospitality Center for more info.
MOTHER AND INFANT QUIET ROOM — Mothers of infants who need a quiet
place for nursing or calming babies. Audio feed of the worship is provided.
Check with Karen Fitts in the Nursery for availability.
JOIN US FOR COFFEE & DONUTS — Please join us each Sunday between
services downstairs in Courtenay Hall for coffee and donuts.

series with When Midwives Break the Rules.
SPRING PICNIC NEXT SUNDAY — April 26, following the 11:00 A.M. service.
Games for 7-12 grade will be on the soccer fields, with games for younger
children on the Oak Hill playground. There will also be a bounce house
and a cupcake walk. Food trucks will serve food; cash and credit cards
accepted. Please wear “play” clothes.
THE NASHVILLE CHAMBER SINGERS IN CONCERT on Sunday, April 26, at
3:00 P.M. The Nashville Chamber Singers will present a concert in the
FPC Sanctuary. The concert is free and open to the public.
2015 MOTHER’S DAY MEN’S CHOIR — Attention all men of First
Presbyterian Church: The Mother’s Day Men’s Choir will begin
rehearsing on April 26 at 9:45 A.M. Please meet Raphael Bundage in the
choir room. We will sing at the 11:00 A.M. service on Mother’s Day, May
10. Call Daphne Garey (298-9517) for information.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN’S “A JOYFUL SPRING” — May 19 at 6:00 P.M. at the
home of Marty & Betty Dickens (4410 Harding Place, 37205) for delicious
food and fellowship. Cost is $15. Register online or call Rachael Gresham

JUNE RAMSEY CLASS — Today, Dr. David Michelson continues to speak on
the middle eastern Christian views on prayer. On April 26, Dr. David
Perkins, Associate Director of the Luce Program in Religion in the Arts
and Contemporary Culture at Vanderbilt Divinity School, will speak on
“The Arts and Theological Education.” Class begins at 9:45 A.M. in the
living room of the Cheek House.
WAY ON WEDNESDAYS is a restorative midweek ministry where children
can experience God through spiritual practices and worship education. All
ages four through 6th grade are welcome! Nursery care for children 3 and
younger. Register online.
WEDNESDAY DINNER MENU — April 22 is baked
spaghetti, roasted vegetables, rolls, salad bar and
cookies. Kids: barbecue chicken bites. Dinner begins
5:00 P.M. Programs begin 6:00 P.M. Dinner cost:

n Pajama Drive ends this week. Grab a heart from the
clothesline in the Children’s Ministry Wing foyer and return your
PJs to the laundry baskets by April 22.
n ME Mornings — Session will conclude this week on April 23.
Moms will take a special trip to the Martha O’Bryan Early Learning
Center to deliver the clothes from our Pajama Drive. Nursery care
will be provided at the church during this trip; please make your
reservation online.
n Confirmation Session Examination & Lunch — May 3,
immediately following the 11:00 A.M. worship in Courtenay Hall,
confirmands will meet with session members while parents hear
about the FPC Youth Ministry.
n Early Preschool is accepting applications for both the 2015
Summer Program and the 2015-16 school year. Visit
