Email Server Settings
All email accounts we host, regardless of the domain name, will use the following server settings. To use a
secure connection, use the settings marked "SSL."

Outgoing servers require SMTP authentication. Microsoft Outlook users will need to manually enable this
feature.
Note: When entering your User Name, please enter your entire email address (e.g.,
[email protected]).
Set Up POP - iPhone™, iPad™, iPod®
Steps are compatible with 3G and 4.0.
To set up POP, do the following:

Tap Settings.

Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap Add Account.
Tap Other.
Tap Add Mail Account.
Enter the following information in the spaces provided:

Name—Enter your first and last name. This is the name that will appear in the From field
of messages you send.
o Address—Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
o Password—Enter the password for your email account.
o Description—Enter a descriptive name for the account (e.g., Work Account). This
description will be visible only to you.
Tap the Save button.
Tap the POP button.
Under both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following
information:

Host Name—Enter the secure server name:

secure.emailsrvr.com
User Name—Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
o
Password—Enter the password for your email account.
10. Tap the Save button.
11. The device will verify settings and return to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen.
Set Up IMAP - iPhone™, iPad™, iPod®
If you would like to learn more about the differences between POP and IMAP, please see the help topic,
"POP vs. IMAP."
Steps are compatible with 3G and 4.0.
To set up IMAP, do the following:

Tap Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Add Account, Tap Other and then Add Mail Account.
2.
Enter the following information in the spaces provided:

Name—Enter your first and last name. This is the name that will appear in the From field of
messages you send.
Address—Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
Password—Enter the password for your email account.
Description—Enter a descriptive name for the account (e.g., Work Account). This description will be
visible only to you.




Tap the Save button.
Note: If IMAP is not already selected, tap the IMAP button.

Under both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following
information:




Host Name—Enter the secure server name:
secure.emailsrvr.com
User Name—Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
Password—Enter the password for your email account.

Tap the Save button and the device will verify settings and return to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars
screen.
Configure Default Folders
1.
Tap Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Select your account, scroll down and Tap Advanced

Under Mailbox Behaviors, tap Drafts Mailbox.
Under On the Server, tap Drafts.
Tap Advanced and Tap the Sent Mailbox.
Under On the Server, tap Sent.
Tap Advanced and thenTap Deleted Mailbox.
Under On the Server, tap Trash.
Set Up BIS - BlackBerry®
The BlackBerry setup steps vary depending on your wireless provider. You may need to consult the help
documentation provided by your provider. To set up BlackBerry for POP, do the following:

On the BlackBerry, select the Email Settings icon, or on your PC, log into your account at your
wireless service provider’s BlackBerry Internet Service website. See below for major carriers:

Click the Set Up Account button.
Enter your email address, password, and confirm password. The validation will fail since it is not a
partner account.
Click the I will provide the settings to add this email account option button.

Click the Next button.
Select This is my work email account.
Click the Next button.
Click the I will provide the settings to add this email account option button.
Click the Next button.
Enter the following information in the fields provided:

User Name—Enter your entire email address, using all lowercase letters (e.g.,
[email protected]).
Password—Enter the password associated with your email account.
Email server—Enter the secure server name:
secure.emailsrvr.com
Email Address—Enter your entire email address, using all lowercase letters (e.g.,
[email protected]).
11. Click the Next button.
You should begin receiving new messages in approximately 20 minutes.
Set Up POP - Android™
To set up Android for POP, do the following:

From the Home screen, tap the Application button.
Tap the Email icon.
If this is your first email account, you will be presented with an email setup screen. Tap the Next
button. Otherwise, press the Menu button, tap Accounts, press the Menu button, and tap Add
account.
Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
In the second box, enter the password associated with your email account.
Tap the Manual setup button.

Tap the POP3 button.
Enter the following information in the fields provided:

Username—Enter your entire email address (e.g., [email protected]).
Password—Enter the password associated with your email account.
POP server—Enter the secure server name:

Port—Enter the secure port number: 995
Security type—Select SSL.
Note: Be sure the Port number is still 995.
9. Tap the Next button. The device will connect to the internet and check your incoming settings.
10. On the Outgoing server settings screen, enter the following information in the fields provided:

SMTP server—Enter the secure server name:

secure.emailsrvr.com
Port—Enter the secure port number: 465
Security type—Select SSL.
Note: Be sure the Port number is still 465.
11. Tap the Require sign-in checkbox.
12. Tap the Next button. The device will connect to the internet and check your outgoing settings.
13. On the Account options screen, make changes, as desired.
14. Tap the Next button. On the Set up email screen, enter your name in the Your name field. This is
the name that will be displayed in the From field of email messages you send.
15. Tap the Done button.
Set Up IMAP - Android™

To set up Android for IMAP, do the following:

On the Outgoing server settings screen, enter the following information in the fields provided:



SMTP server—Enter the secure server name: secure.emailsrvr.com
Port—Enter the secure port number: 465
Security type—Select SSL (always)

Tap the Require sign-in checkbox then tap the Next button and the device will connect to the
internet and check your outgoing settings.
Note: On the Account options screen, make changes, as desired.

(this is the name that will be displayed in the From field of email messages you send) and then tap

Set Up POP - Windows Mobile®
The Windows Mobile setup steps vary depending on your mobile device and wireless provider. You may
need to consult the help documentation that accompanies your device. To set up Windows Mobile for POP,
do the following:

On your Windows Mobile device, open the Messaging application and create a new account.
When Windows Mobile prompts you, enter the following information in the fields provided.

[email protected]).
o Your Name—Enter your name. This is the name that will be displayed when you send an
email message.
o Password—Enter the password associated with your email account.
o Account type—Select POP3.
o Name—Enter a descriptive name for the account (e.g., Work Account).
Enter the following mail server information:

Set Up IMAP - Windows Mobile®
To set up Windows Mobile for IMAP, do the following:

Name - Enter a descriptive name for the account (e.g., Work Account).
