Entries: All events will be run in a relay fashion - 4 participants per event
(except for field events, which is 3 or 4, score 3).
Meet entries will be handled on the www.athletic.net website. You
should have received an “invite” to the site. If you need
assistance registering on the website, please contact meet entry
coordinator, Maurice Vick, at [email protected].
Fees:
Meet costs to be divided amongst participating schools.
Scoring: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Awards: Top 3 in each event will medal. Plaques to be awarded for first
place team finishers.
General Meet Information
 Coaches meeting will be at 3:15 pm; Field events will start at 3:45 pm, running events at
4:00 pm.
 Top 3 finishers will medal.
 Plaque will be awarded for first place team finishers.
 We will score eight places: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
 To score as a team – 4 contestants for each running event, 3 contestants for each field
event. Note: You may still have 4 contestants in field events, but only 3 will score.
 Athletes are limited to competing in 4 events.
 Go to www.athletic.net for meet entries. You should have received an invite to the
website by now. If not, please contact meet entry coordinator, Maurice Vick, at
[email protected] . You may begin your entries at anytime. Entries are due by
Wednesday, April 15, at 12 pm.
 Suggested starting heights – Girls PV-6’-7’-8’-then 6” increments; Boys PV-8’-9-10’-then
6” increments.
 Long and Triple jumps – 4 jumps, no finals *1 ½ hours to complete jumps, will begin next
gender warm-ups when finished.
 Shot Put and Discus – 4 throws, no finals * 1 ½ hours to complete jumps, will begin next
gender warm-ups when finished.
 Each team should provide a worker for 1 field event and 1 timer/official.
 Lighting could be an issue for field events, so please stress to your athletes to be on
time and ready to go-checking in and out of events.
 We will follow M.S.H.S.A.A. and N.F.H.S. handbook rules.
 All teams should come dressed. Locker rooms will NOT be provided.
 There are outdoor restrooms available. School is off limits.
 Concessions will be available.
 A trainer will be available throughout the meet.
 Tents must be in designated areas only – outside of fence area.
 Buses may drop off athletes at the track entrance, and should park in the upper lot.
 Please no tape on track or runways – tennis balls may be used for relays, chalk on
runways.
 Please remind athletes to stay off of the infield and finish line area.
 Medals can be picked at the completion of the meet in the press box.
 Results will be e-mailed to your Activities Director.
