Both teams are selected in line with the published philosophy outlined in the policy:
‘The Junior & U23 World Championship Team will be focused on performance
delivery and is predominantly based upon selecting athletes of a standard to make a
World Championship Final in 2015’. U23 and U18 Performance percentages have
been strictly applied.

International Panel Statement – 16th March 2015
Following the Junior & U23 Team Selection Series at Lee Valley in March 2015, In
line with the published policy, this statement outlines athletes selected for the 2015
Junior & U23 Championship Teams.
It was a historic weekend with the first ever junior selection race at our Olympic
venue. The International panel withes to recognise the commitment made by
individuals, coaches and programmes in the site specific preparations at Lee Valley
ahead of selection and the resultant step-up in ability. The commitments made by
the Home Nations, athletes and the coaches have produced a great competition for
places in the junior teams in 2015. Finally a significant thank you to all the volunteers
who resisted the cold weather to make the event so successful.
