ADA Company Profile
ADA. The furniture maker The ADA furniture factory based in eastern Styria is one of the leading manufacturers of upholstered furniture, beds and mattresses in Europe. With traditional craftsmanship, industrial precision and a contemporary design, the family company guarantees living quality at the highest level. In this, thanks to a broad range of high quality products, the “furniture makers” from Austria are able to provide for different customer requirements in almost all price segments. The other strengths of ADA include flexibility, reliability, short delivery times and absolute adherence to deadlines – ensured by the extensive independence of upstream suppliers. The company makes ninety percent of its turnover in the so-called DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. Four factories – from start-up facilities to premium furniture The models in the “ADA AUSTRIA premium” brand are developed in the Austrian parent plant in Styria. Each item of upholstered furniture and every bed begins life in the internal sawmill and passes through production, where it obtains shape, features and functions with the latest technologies coupled with solid craftsmanship. All upholstered items of furniture and beds are produced exclusively by hand at ADA and they are therefore genuinely individual. The exceptionally high quality of the products with modern design and a broad range of functions and types are the company’s spearhead. ADA also produces high-quality upholstered furniture in Hungary. In the sister company in Körmend, the furniture maker produces for the mid-range price segment under the brand “ADA trendline”. As well as the conventional range, the production here also includes modern models. In this range, trendy seating areas and reclining armchairs are designed – some with functions and a broad range of types. Another factory is in the Hungarian village of Nova. Here, the main items produced are slatted frames in the broadest range of designs and price categories as well as reasonably priced mattresses and beds, under the brand name “Alina sleeping”. Good quality is also guaranteed here with premium materials and design. In the future, ADA wants to increasingly supply the eastern market from Nova. This is equally true for the Romanian factory in Salonta. Under the brand name “Alina living”, ADA banks on upholstered furniture in tried and tested quality, at reasonable prices – with a limited range of types and fabrics. As a volume supplier, both conventional and modern suites are also manufactured. Quality from passion Top quality and high delivery reliability are values for which there is more demand than ever. ADA wants to continue on this path in the future – with a strong brand that satisfies customers with all its values. The furniture makers from Styria achieve this with continuous quality checks, constant optimisation of the production processes and range diversity. The staff produces all products in adherence to the highest quality standards. A high level of commitment is required in order for this to be possible continuously. ADA can count on its staff here: From trainee to manager, from sales representative to graphic designer, and from joiner to seamstress – everyone works for the common success and pulls together. Design Cooperations For more than 10 years ADA has been producing furniture in collaboration with well-known lifestyle brands, such as beds for Joop or upholstery for Musterring. The cooperation with Tom Tailor was established in 2011. Together with the fashion company ADA manufactures living room suites, beds and armchairs. The traditional furniture company, located in Anger, has saved its place in the lifestyle sector long ago, being perceived as a provider of modern upholstery and sophisticated design. This will be once more confirmed at the upcoming interior design show imm cologne, at which ADA will present a fine selection of their upholstered furniture made in Austria inspired by their latest brand co-operations.
