TEEN POETRY CONTEST 2015
There are two grade level categories for this contest, Grades 7-9 and Grades 10-12. The contest is
open to anyone within these grade level categories who resides in Greene County, Ohio.

PRIZES: Target gift cards: First Place $50 Second Place $25 Third Place $10 in each grade
level category. (Gift card prizes are made possible by the generous support of the Beavercreek
Library Friends) All entries will be published in a collection of poetry that will be made available for
purchase (entrants will be notified about the publishing date). Winners receive a free copy.

Entries not following these instructions will not be considered or published!









SUBMIT ONLY ONE POEM. • Entries will not be returned, so copy your work before submitting it.
Entry must be typed on • PLAIN WHITE 8 1/2 x 11 PAPER (no graphics, illustrations, colored paper or
fancy fonts please).
The library reserves the right to reject any entry it deems inappropriate or which contains
excessive profanity and explicit sexual or violent content.
Do NOT put your name directly on your poem. Your name should appear on the entry form
ONLY.
Do NOT staple.
Enclose the official entry form below (or a copy of the form) with your submission
Drop off your poem and entry form at the Beavercreek Community Library, or mail to:
