Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome back to the summer term, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday. The term has got off
to a great start with the wonderful sunshine and the school looks exceptionally beautiful with all the
daffodils out.
Family Service
Our next family service is next Monday, 20th April at 9.10am in St Mary’s Church. The service will finish
by 9.40am. All are welcome.
Hot weather provisions
This may be a little premature and probably a bad omen but, if we are lucky enough to have some hot
weather, please ensure that children bring sun hats and water bottles to school and that sun cream is
applied before school. Children must not bring sun cream into school. Please also ensure that if children
wear sandals, they wear socks with these (somebody call the fashion police!).
Symphonia Academia Concert – Friday 8th May
Tickets are now on sale for this fabulous event. They can be purchased at Parminters, White Hart Studio,
Blooming Fruity, from Cristina Freeman in the playground or via the school website:

We will need helpers on the night - if you are able to help please let a PTA member or the school office
know.
Haddenham Village Fete – Saturday 6th June
This year’s village fete is on Saturday 6th June. We will be running a 'hook a soft toy' stall. Please start
collecting gift bags and soft toys (in good condition), if you can prize them away from your children! Eve
Roberts (Ellie - Sky Class) will be putting together a rota of 30 minute slots for people to ‘man’ the stall
at the fete – please sign up if you can.
Calling all Sky Class parents
There are a number of events in the summer term that traditionally the Sky Class Parents and Carers
have organised – in particular the coffee morning and end of year party; we would really appreciate your
help with these again this year. Please look out for correspondence from Caroline Cooper (Sky Class rep).

Attached is our calendar of events for this term (subject to additions and changes!). Also attached are
the term dates and INSET days for the next academic year (2015-16), just in case any of you are very
organised and want to book your holidays early!
Parking in car park – again!
Please be aware that parents are not permitted to park in the school car park. Parents must park outside
the school grounds and walk through the church entrance at all times, unless you have permission to do
otherwise. It has been so bad recently that parents and carers have been parking in the middle of the car
park and staff who leave at 3.05 have not been able to get their cars out!
