German Beers
For almost 500 years, Arcobräu has been
brewed in Moos, at the very heart of lower
Bavaria, where the Danube and the Isar meet.
Surrounded by rolling fiels or barley
and wheat, the location is idyllic. The family
brewery is owned by Count Arco, family
descendant of the original pioneers of beermaking. Our water which is the essence
of brewing comes from our own ancient
mineral water well. The best Hallertau
hops and our own strain of yeast, which
is specially stored in the vaults of
Weihenstephan University.
Hahndorf Inn Schloss Lager
(4.6% ABV) Always Available
Our house-lager, brewed in Bavaria
(exlusively for the Hanhdorf Inn) by
Acrobräu brewery, a full-flavoured,
smooth Bavarian lager, mild in taste.
Zwicklbier
(Unfiltered Pale Lager) 5.2%
The Taste experience of yesteryear.
Brewed since 1567, this pale ale is
more similar in nature to a pale lager.
Its unique and unchanged recipe
delivers a deliciously natural beer with
a smooth finish. This distinct brew is
unfiltered and a taste sensation.
Schofferhofer Hefeweizen (5.1%
ABV) Always Available
Germany’s no 1 selling and the first
German wheat beer brewed outside
of Bavaria. This iconic German wheat
beer delivers typical flavours of
cloves and other spices, with a hint
of banana. Full-bodied, with a nice
lemon zest that comes through on
the back palate to refresh the taste.
Hofbräu Dunkel (5.5% ABV)
Always Available
Dark cooper/chestnut colour, topped
with a light tan head. Enticing aromas
of rich caramel and dark roasted
malts, The flavour is a balance of
dark sweet malt and medium dry hop
bitterness.
Hofbräu Original (5.1% ABV)
Always Available
A traditional Munich lager of goldenstraw in colour, a nose lifted honeyed
malt with subtle fruity hop aroma. A
flavoursome palate, with a balance of
dry and honeyed malt, with a light fruity
hop bitterness and clean, crisp finish.
Arcobräu Urfass Alkolfrie(0.2% ABV)
(Alcohol-Free) Available Seasonally
Pours with a cloudy, golden pale
body and creamy head. Aromas of
light citrus, clove, yeast and fresh
wheat. Tastes lightly spicy with a
smooth malt background, fruity
banana overtones, spicy clove citrus,
and even peach. Buce fresh yeasty

Hofbräu Oktoberfest (6.3% ABV)
Available Seasonally
Clear, golden-amber colour, with
long-lasting, creamy white foam.
Medium body and semi-crisp, with
lots of pale malt flavour. This stronger
brew is one of Munich’s specialties!
Hofbräu Maibock (7.2% ABV)
Available Seasonally
By tradition, the first barrel
of Maibock is tapped in the
Hofbräuhaus in the last week of
April, in time for the merry month
of May. This maibock has a bright,
light-copper colour with a golden tan
foaming head. Rich toasted malt and
fruity hop aromas with a medium-full
body and a long “Christmas cake”
like fruity finish.
