Jo Golby MAF ( Mission Aviation Fellowship) We have had a thank you letter from MAF:We are very grateful for the wonderful gifts amounting to £1,149.86 from Harlington Methodist Church following your year of fundraising for MAF. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all those who have made these gifts possible. Thank you too for all the hard work and effort that the church has put into the fundraising activities.” ON YOUR BIKE ROB! Right - time to put your hands in your pocket! It’s not often I look for charity donations from my friends & family but on this occasion I’m dropping you a line for just that reason! Most of you will know that I am organising a fun ride at the start of September, from Northampton Uni to Ypres in Belgium, a 270mile excursion over 4 days. I’m organising 24 other riders to join me and Pidy, my UK office, is the main sponsor to this event. We are all raising money for The Hope Centre, a Northampton based charity which was formed 41 years ago. It’s a well organised centre which simply feeds, clothes & helps people try to put themselves back on track helping people up in life. http://www.northamptonhopecentre.org.uk/ All the money goes to the charity. Each rider has paid £300 towards their transport, accommodation & food costs. So every penny you give will go towards the Hope Centre and will people in our society who need support. So now to the nuts & bolts; you can help me raise money for this great cause by donating directly to my fundraising page http://www.justgiving.com/Robert-Whittle1. Just Giving sends your donation straight to Northampton Hope Centre and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. Thank you for your support and if you are at all tempted to join in I have 4 places still left on the program....or if this year is too tight then book some time to join me in the R4H 2016 planned around the same time next year!
