Harmony Christian April 29, 2015 School PARENT CONNECTION MISSION STATEMENT AND VISION Mission Statement—In service to Christian families, HCS is a biblically based ministry, seeking to train young people to reach their full potential in mind, body, and spirit. Vision—Harmony Christian School exists to train students who are spiritually, socially, and academically equipped to serve as leaders in the local church and community. SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS Andrew Miceli Joan Gruner Sherri Terracino Bob Radcliffe Terri Lucas Mary Luna Kristen Edge James Vizethann Jonathan Swart MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! May 8—Spring Musical—7pm; May 16— LIVE Auction– Doors open 6pm; Auction begins at 7pm; May 29—Golf-a-thon Dear Parents, Well the warm weather is here today, let’s hope it stays. I know we were all surprised by last week’s snow showers! So much is happening over the next few weeks. First of which is our Annual Spelling Bee this coming Friday. Volunteers are still needed. Our spring musical “Psalms of David” will be performed for one night only. Because we have made it only one night, there could be a chance that seats could be sold out. You can call the school office to have your tickets reserved for you at the door. Tickets will be sold at the door at a first come basis on the night of the show. Mr. Vann still needs 3-4 men to help put the stage together. (Each man helping will get a complimentary ticket!!) This is our first attempt at doing a bigger production. Let’s make it a success by bringing our friends and relatives. Perhaps that neighbor who doesn’t know Christ? God can do amazing things with the unexpected. The object of the game is simple. Whoever has the most money at the end of the contest wins. But, of course, there is a catch to this game. All coins count for the team, but all paper money in the jar is SUBTRACTED from that team's total. So what you have is sabotage, and lots of it. Classes will load up their own jar with coins, and everyone else's jars with $1, $5, $10, and $20. The class with the most “change” will win a party at the end of the month. (Type of party will be announced soon) 22 High School Prom The money will be counted and collected every Thursday and results as to who is winning will be posted on office window Friday morning.
