RATIONALE
The Advanced Life Support (Level 1) course is targeted towards the following occupations;

The aim of this course is to allow you to attend to a patient in cardiac arrest until the arrival
of Paramedics or the Cardiac Arrest Team.
This course is accredited by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and allows for accrual
of Continuing Professional Development CPD or PDP points and the certification is valid for 4
years. Refer to your Professional organisation for allocation of points but generally accrues in
excess of 20 points.
Our instructors are highly qualified in the Pre-hospital & In-hospital Care and will guide you
through practical work stations in Airway Management, Defibrillation and Cardiac Arrest
Simulations.
