Ecodan Cashback Offer Terms and Conditions

1. Promotional period: 9 April 2015 to 9 October 2015. The closing date for receipt

of completed rebate claim forms is 30 October 2015. Any application for rebate
received after this date will be deemed invalid.
2. The promotion is not open to employees of Mitsubishi Electric or their immediate
families, or anyone connected with the promotion.
3. The Ecodan Cashback Offer promotion applies only to Ecodan air source heat
pumps and Mitsubishi Electric cylinder packages (the “Product Package”) which
are:
-
installed and commissioned within the promotional period in a domestic
property within England, Scotland or Wales; and
-
purchased from Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V.’s UK Branch (“Mitsubishi
Electric”) or a Mitsubishi Electric approved wholesaler or merchant and which
are supplied to and installed and commissioned by:
o
a Mitsubishi Electric Business Solution Partner (BSP) or Accredited
Installer (AI);
o
a standard account holder (SAH) who has installed and
commissioned the heat pump using qualified or competent
operatives.

In addition, prior to installation and commissioning of the Product Package and
within the promotional period you must have purchased an Energy
Performance Certificate and Green Deal Assessment (together the
“Assessment”) from Mitsubishi Electric’s nominated assessment partner, Easy
EPC. Easy EPC is the trading name of Green Deal Consult Limited, an English
registered company No. 8134020.
Mitsubishi Electric is not responsible to you for the actions or omissions of any
installer or Easy EPC or their respective terms of trading.
4. Whilst the Assessment includes a Green Deal Assessment, this promotion is not
associated with any UK or national Government ‘Green Deal’ package and is not
connected with any UK or national Government ‘Green Deal’ cashback arrangement
or other government financed incentive which may operate from time to time.
5. The promotion is open only to end user customers being any (i) UK-based landlord;
or (ii) private end user purchaser aged 18 years or over who are residents of
England, Scotland or Wales; for the domestic property which is the subject of the
Assessment and the installation and commissioning of the Product Package.
6. Claims must be submitted by the end user customer only. Installers may not submit
claims on behalf of their customers. Claims must be submitted by post using only
Mitsubishi Electric’s Ecodan Cashback Offer rebate claim form available at the
dedicated webpage or by calling us on 0161 866 6064. As a condition to claim, you
must include:
- a copy of Easy EPC’s invoice to you, dated within the promotional period, as
your proof of purchase;
- copy documentary evidence to confirm installation and commissioning of the
Product Package within the promotional period.
Your proof of purchase and documentary evidence will not be posted back to you please do not send the originals. The completed rebate claim form must be
received by us, together with the proof of purchase and documentary evidence
within 30 days of the Assessment or the date of commissioning for your
Product Package, whichever is later.

All details entered onto your rebate claim form must be legible: any illegible details
will result in your rebate claim form being rejected.

Any instructions contained within the promotional website and the rebate claim form
stand as part of the terms and conditions of the promotion. In the event of conflict,
these terms and conditions prevail. Participants are deemed to agree to be bound by
all the terms and conditions. By submitting a rebate claim form application you agree
to these terms and conditions in their entirety.

If a claim is refused, because you have failed to comply with the terms and
conditions of the promotion, Mitsubishi Electric’s decision is final.
10. Mitsubishi Electric reserves the right to verify any application for rebate and the
submission of rebate claim forms, so that we may identify any misuse and reject any
application if we have reason to believe the terms of the promotion have been
breached or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
11. Only one claim for rebate per specified Product Package/Assessment is
permitted. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other Mitsubishi
Electric sales promotion for Ecodan heat pumps, Mitsubishi Electric cylinder or
Product Packages.
12. Your ability to claim rebate is not transferrable to any other individual or business;
rebate claims will only be accepted from the original purchaser of a Product Package
and Assessment.
13. The promotion is subject to availability of (i) Product Packages; and (ii) an Easy EPC
assessor to complete an Assessment.
Mitsubishi Electric reserves the right to
withdraw or amend the promotion without notice and without liability.
14. Provided that the terms and conditions of this promotion have been met, Mitsubishi
Electric will pay you the sum of £147.95 (or, if lower, the total amount inclusive of
VAT as shown on the proof of purchase). Payments will be made within 30 days of
receipt of your completed rebate claim form and proof of purchase and other
documentary evidence, however please allow a maximum of 45 days to receive your
payment. (Payment will by bank transfer only, to your bank account as detailed by
you on your claim form). If you do not provide your bank account details then
Mitsubishi Electric will not have any payment obligation to you.
15. Mitsubishi Electric will account for any VAT as may be due on the rebate sum paid.
Mitsubishi Electric shall not be responsible for any tax liability as may be incurred by
you.
16. Proof of posting of a rebate claim form and proof of purchase/other documentary
evidence will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Mitsubishi Electric cannot accept
liability for any claim form, proof of purchase or other documentary evidence lost,
damaged or destroyed in the post. Mitsubishi Electric recommends you use an
insured postal service or ‘sign for’ postal delivery. Mitsubishi Electric is not
responsible or liable for any failure or delay due to any other failures or damage of
any kind or for any delay caused by postal services to the extent that this prevents
you from or otherwise obstructs or delays you in participating in the promotion.
17. Please note we are unable to accept hand delivery of your rebate claim form or proof
of purchase/other documentary evidence.

19. Nothing in the terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Mitsubishi Electric’s liability
for death or personal injury caused by the proven negligence of Mitsubishi Electric,
its agents or sub-contractors. Otherwise to the maximum extent permissible by law,
Mitsubishi Electric shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense
incurred by you in connection with this promotion.
20. These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
21. You agree to Mitsubishi Electric using your personal data as may appear on your
rebate claim form and proof of purchase for the purpose of administration of your
claim.
