The CTEK MXTS 40 is a versatile battery support unit and fullyautomatic 8 step ‘smart’ charger that delivers 40A to 20-1200Ah
12v batteries and 20A to 10-600Ah 24v batteries.
Designed for professional workshop use, the MXTS 40 is supplied
with detachable 2.5m cables and heavy-duty clamps, which make
it highly portable, however it can also be wall or trolley mounted.*
The MXTS 40 boasts an array of features, including a power
supply function that provides a selectable constant voltage
to avoid ECU damage from voltage fluctuations during
programming, and a built-in temperature sensor for optimum
charging whatever the weather.
The MXTS 40 is IP20 classified and housed in a rugged, heavy-duty
polycarbonate casing for use in even the toughest environments.
It is designed to be non-sparking, reverse polarity protected
and is short-circuit proof too, eliminating risk to the user
or the vehicle’s electronic systems.
Test and recondition deeply discharged
batteries
Battery condition diagnosis is easy with the MXTS 40, which
automatically tests the battery and indicates whether it is able
to accept and hold a charge or if it has reached end of life.
Automatic pulse charging treats sulphated batteries and extends
battery life, and a special reconditioning function allows deeply
discharged batteries to be returned to working order.
Safe and easy to use, with a clear OLED display
Designed to be flexible and easy to use, the MXTS 40 features
a clear OLED display that shows important charge parameters
including current, voltage and amps charged.
