The competition will be run under Pony Club Rules.
All but Tadpole and Pairs classes will include a gate to be opened and closed, and a slip rail which requires the
rider to dismount, lead their pony through and remount; riders who fail to negotiate these obstacles within the one
minute allowed will be told to continue on the course and penalised 15 faults. All classes will be timed and
placings determined by an optimum time. Some obstacles will offer ‘L’ fence alternatives, the penalty for jumping
these will be 19 faults. Tadpoles may be led with a discretionary penalty.
The decision of the judges and stewards is final. They reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any part of the
competition, or to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
Objections must be made in writing and handed to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident, with a fee of
£10, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
st
Age is taken as at 1 January 2015.
