International Museum Day 2015, Hong Kong Lecture Series Museums for a sustainable society : Succeed・Develop・Sustain Nowadays, people recognise that the Earth's natural resources are limited and we must develop and implement plans to conserve and protect our Planet Earth. As a result, the concept of "sustainable development" has become paramount and our living style and the development direction of our society shall change accordingly. Under this scenario, how can museums cope with this change? On the International Museum Day 2015, Hong Kong, we have invited twelve curators from different museums to share their views on the issue. How can museums succeed its heritage and develop in a sustainable way? And how can they provide resources for lifelong learning? Let's explore together!
