NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the
Constitution of India, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following
rules further to amend rule 56 of the Fundamental Rules (in its application to the State
O,f Himachal Pradesh), namely:­
Short title and
commencement. 1.
(1) These Rules may be called the Funda~ntal (in Its
I
application to the State of Himachal Pradesh)
Amendment Rules, 2015.
(2) These rules shall come into force with immediate
effect.
Amendment of rule-56.
2. In rule-56 of the Fundamental Rules (in its
application
to the State of Himachal Pradesh),
clause(dd) shall be omitted.
Repeal 3.
(1) The Fundamental (in its application to the State of
Himachal
Pradesh)
Amendment
Rules,
2014
notified vide Notification No. Fln(C)A(3)-2/2013
dated 28-05-2014 and published in Rajpatra
Himachal Pradesh on 29-05-2014 are hereby
repealed.
(2) All Government Servants who have been granted
extensions under the rules
so
repealed under sub
rule(l) shall stand retired on the afternoon of 31st
of March, 2015.

..2.• (3) All extensions applied for by any Government
Servant or approved by any authority at any level
under the rules so repealed under sub rule(l)
shall be of no effect and such Government
Servants shall retire on attaining the age of
superannuation i.e. 58 years.
