Check into the hotel and unwind before the evening activities. (Hotel TBD) Enjoy a nice meal in Lower Town - Old Quebec (Voutes du Cavour) Learn about this UNESCO World Heritage Site on a very complete guided walking tour of lower and upper town. Visit the grounds of the Legislature Building and the famous Tourney Fountain. When it is all lit up it is truly amazing! Return to the hotel – get some rest, as we have only just begun! Breakfast at hotel and orientation with guide. Grab a big breakfast because you’ll need the energy! Early morning departure to run away to the circus! Have an amazing morning at the Quebec Circus School learning many circus arts. This 3-hour activity is so much fun! Enjoy! Wow! Now that you’re warmed up, jump back on the bus and head to Old Quebec. Now it’s your turn to explore Old Quebec’s winding streets in small groups. While you walk around, participate in a Rally which will help you discover even more secrets of this beautiful city. Don’t forget to stop into quaint shops and cafes and have lunch with your friends (own expense). Maybe try the famous poutine! Awesome city! Head to the Plaines of Abraham to learn about the city’s military history. Visit the Plaines d’Abraham Discovery Pavillion and learn about the battles that took place here that shaped the future of North America. This presentation is called Les Batailles. Stroll along the Plaines of Abraham and see the spot where General Montcalm fell in battle. Circle back and walk down the Grande Allée - the Champs Élysées of Quebec City - to enjoy a nice meal. (St Hubert) Return to the hotel to get ready for evening activity. Got your dancing shoes on? Go back to Lower town and get ready to board the cruise ship for the evening’s final activity. Board the Louis Joliet cruise ship for an incredible evening ahead. Dance the evening away while cruising the Saint Lawrence River – Imagine…a school dance on the water – and with an awesome view! I’m tuckered out after such a busy day! Return to Hotel for a good night’s rest. 21:30 Get your day’s energy at breakfast at the hotel – orientation with your guide. This morning, we head to the beautiful Beaupré Coast. Visit the amazing Ste Anne’s Basilica – this incredible structure will leave you in awe! Check out the doors – does the art on them look familiar? Admire the mosaics, the stained glass windows and a replica of Michaelangelo’s Pieta. Learn about the role played by the Catholic religion in the history of Quebec. Visit the majestic Montmorency Falls up close…cross the suspension bridge and enjoy the view of Ile d’Orléans and Quebec City from afar. That was awesome. Hungry? Let’s go!
