Recent Advances in Multilevel Inverters and their Applications
Special Section on: M Recent Advances in Multilevel Inverters and their Applications ULTILEVEL INVERTERS have been experienced, in terms of research and applications, continuous and increas- ing growth during the last two decades. The effort of the researchers and industry has led to rapid devel- opment of different multilevel inverter topologies, modulation techniques and control strategies. In addition, other interesting research topics such as fault tolerant operations, efficiency improvement, optimized control strategies and new applications are also important. All researchers working in this area are encouraged to submit their papers with latest results to this Special Section. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Editors invite original manuscripts presenting recent advances in these fields with special reference to the following topics: 4 Common mode voltage reduction methods in multilevel 4 New multilevel inverter topologies 4 New modulation and control strategies for multilevel inverters 4 Multilevel inverters for renewable energy applications 4 Fault tolerant design of multilevel inverters 4 Industrial applications of multilevel inverters 4 High efficiency in multilevel inverters. inverters Manuscript Preparation and Submission Check carefully the style of the journal described in the guidelines “Information for Authors” in the IEEE- IES web site: http://www.ieee-ies.org/index.php/pubs/ieee-transactions-on-industrial-electronics .
